Connection Resources During Coronavirus Pandemic

Updated May 28, 2020 11:40 am

We are excited to open the Kids and Youth Ministries on June 7th at 10 am! We do request that you utilize our RSVP program to ensure that we are following the recommendations put forth by the State of Texas. We are utilizing pages 6-9 of the Minimum Standard Health Protocols set forth on May 18th. These will be updated as the state continues to revise standards.

Drop-off/Pick-up Procedures
As you enter, we will check your child(ren)’s temperature, which must be under 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit. A volunteer will check them in and escort your child(ren) to their room in order to minimize traffic in the hallway.  Hand sanitizer will be used as children enter the rooms. As soon as you have dropped off your child(ren), please make your way directly to the Worship Center. Please check the list at the bottom of this page for reasons to keep your child(ren) home, and if any symptoms have been exhibited, please keep them home for at least 72 hours from the last symptom.

Please wait at the door to pick up your child(ren), the check-in volunteer will take your pick-up tag and bring your child to you.

Please keep your child(ren) home if they have any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Diarrhea
  • Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Known close contact with a person who is lab-confirmed to have COVID-19

Please keep your child(ren) at home for 72 hours after the last symptom exhibited subsides and at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

If your child(ren) has been in close contact with a lab-confirmed case, we ask that your child(ren) not attend for 14 days from last exposure.

We’re excited to have families back in the building! If you have any questions, email contact@crossroadsarl.org.

Climbing Partners

Parents, check out these resources for your children!

We hope you all are able to enjoy sweet memories with your families and enjoy being the church for your child(ren). Lifeway has given temporary access to portions of the Gospel Project to aid in this time of staying in smaller gatherings. Please feel free to invite over the neighbors if everyone is healthy. Remember, where 2 or more believers are gathered, there will also be “church” when the Holy Spirit is invited. Your children will probably remember these next few Sundays more than 50 “regular Sundays” so let’s make them count! They have been watching “One, Two, Three” By Dakota Pyle on YouTube, as well as “Hosanna Rock” By Matt Turner. Other ideas follow the Gospel Project access. ENJOY & BE BLESSED!
